Mostly known for his strong presence in the New York City clubs from 1994 to present date, KO got his first big break in New York City in 1994 playing hip-hop in the Shampoo room in the club Named The Limelight . ,,,,,, shortly After that KO he got his net next big break in New York City in a club called THE Palladium ,,,,, started in the Engine room played hip-hop in the Michael Todd room and played house music on the main floor........ a very big accomplishment at 20 years old , and a residency that speaks for it self not only did dj KO play hip-hop music , he played HOUSE MUSIC , Having the opening spot on the main floor playing house music he open for some of the crème de la crème in New York City at the time ..... dj Charlie Casanova dj Hex Hector Glenn frisca, and many many more .......thereafter KO played almost ever major House and Hip hop venues from the late 90s far into the 2000’s ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Open format Dj well KO was there from birth as one of the first to introduce this style to NYC , after the PETE G DAYS , KO worked with some of the top promoters in in NY throughout the years playing all the best parties—- exit , sound factory , cheetah , Avalon , the world , Mirage , Metropolis greenhouse , hush , 9 1/2 , griffin, touch , Hawain tropic , home/guesthouse , loft just to name a few .. if I had to describe him and his style I’d would say he’s part Africa Bambara with a dash of Todd Terry ,, a sprinkle of grandmaster flash ,,, in the heart and soul of Larry Lavvan ,,, THATS DJ K.O. ,,,,, Catch Dj K.O. Playing in NY or anywhere around the world , TODAY still playing events private industry gatherings and shows and while he’s not doing that he’s stays on the cut as a battle show DJ and NYC hip hop historian , the CHASE CONTINUES !!!!
