Brooklyn-born and raised DJ/Producer Angel Moraes came of age in the golden era of NYCs legendary disco and house scene. In 1993 he founded Hot N Spycy Recordings. From his earliest productions The Moraes Sound was making waves. His creative approach to engineering and mastering, mixing up dark & delicious beats, dirty bass lines, industrial sounds, and stirring vocals established Angel as a highly respected and sought after Producer, Remixer and DJ. Early work, such as Welcome to the Factory, To The Rhythm, and Burnin Up fast became hallowed underground anthems. In a scene that has become increasingly commercial, Angel has remained true to his roots. From his new production studio, Soundworks, Angels more recent releases such as Music is Your Life and his latest, A DEEPer Sensation, are once again rocking dancefloors across the globe.
